This Week’s General Information
- The boosters are getting charter buses for our first away game against Cherokee County. Each student should bring $5.00 for a seat by Thursday.
- All students must ride with the band to away events when a bus is provided. Students will be allowed to ride back with their parents, but the parent must sign out his/her child at the bus after the event is over. Mr. Kilgo or a chaperone will have the sign out list.
- Students will stay after school on Friday. Our bus will leave at 3:45 p.m.
- A few local churches will be providing a meal for all band students after school on Friday. The band will walk over to Fairview First Baptist Church toward the end of band class. After eating, we will return to school, load the buses and depart for Cherokee County.
- Students who want a snack for on the way home can bring $2.00 to give to Mrs. Carden Thursday night.
- Any parent who can assist with the meal or with preparing the brown bags, please contact Mrs. Carden at (256) 385-5287.
This Week’s Schedule
- Monday: Sectionals until 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: Full band rehearsal until 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday: Full band rehearsal from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
- Friday: First away game. Students will stay after school. We should return back to Fairview around 11:30 p.m. or midnight. It really depends on the length of the game and traffic.
